Pop singer Keli was labor Tuesday

Kelis & Nas married in Atlanta in 2005.

Kelis has filed for divorce from Nas, ending their marriage of four years. She is seven months pregnant with their child, and is seeking joint custody.

Now they (The new mother and father), who wed in January 2005 after a two-year engagement but filed for divorce in April, have already begun duking out their new financial arrangements in court. Kelis is seeking child support, spousal support and attorney fees from the hip-hop hubby who once ruled her world.

The singer ( Keli) went into labor Tuesday; it's unknown when Keli delivered her baby boy by rapper Nas, her estranged husband.

Kelis, 29, filed for divorce from 35-year-old Nas in April after four years of marriage.

The child's father Nas - who is estranged from Kelis - was not allowed to be present at the birth.
A source said: "Nas is in New York City, anxiously awaiting the arrival of his son. It was his intention to be there for the birth, but unfortunately he has not been allowed to be present.
After receiving news that NAS soon-to-be ex-wife had gone into labor yesterday morning, Nas rushed to the hospital to be at Kelis side -- but Kelis was denied access to her room, his lawyer told MTV UK.

Nas grew up -- the rapper announced, "My son's name is Knight.
